Notice to Group Leaders In addition to the 'Mega Tours' (i.e. 100 plus participants), Land & Life can now provide options for smaller group visits to Israel from only £618 per person for 8 days.
If you are (or know of) a Christian leader who would like to bring a 'small' group to Israel then please check out our standard package. All you need is to find a minimum group size of 20 (maximum of 50) and then decide the time of departure to suit your group.
You may view a sample package below. Please note there are price options which take into account Christian leaders who work as volunteers and may not be able to fund their own visit.

DAY 'Small Group' TOUR to ISRAEL
Minimum 20 Participants (Maximum
50) Day 1 Fly on a scheduled EL AL flight from London direct to
Israel's Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. A meal will be served during the flight.
Transfer by air-conditioned coach to your hotel in nearby Netanya on the Mediterranean
coast. Overnight in Netanya. Day 2 Following breakfast first a visit
to Caesarea with its close associations with the apostle Paul and now known to
be the home of Pontious Pilate. You will visit the magnificent Roman Amphitheatre
built right on the shore and still used for dramatic performances. Also in Caesarea
you will see the amazing aqueduct which runs for many miles. Travelling north-east
you will visit Meggido, the site of Armageddon. You will be able to explore the
extraordinary underground water tunnels before driving the short distance to Nazareth.
You will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, famous for being traditionally
the place where Mary was visited by the angel Gabriel and now equally famed for
its stunning artwork and stained glass. Continue through Cana where Jesus performed
his first miracle to your Hotel on the edge of the Sea of Galilee for your evening
meal. Overnight in Galilee. Day 3 A wonderful start to the day with
a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee. Following this, a tour of the area in and around
the lake. You will visit Tabgha, the traditional site of the feeding of the 5000;
the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached his most well known sermon and Capernaum,
the town so closely associated with his life and ministry. Travelling north you
will visit Banias (Caesarea Phillipi) and a source of the River Jordan before
returning to your hotel via the Golan Heights with its wonderful views of the
Galilean region. Overnight in Galilee. Day 4 First a visit to Yardenit,
the traditional baptismal site on the River Jordan. From here we travel south
along the spectacular Jordan Valley route. Passing first through Beit She'an,
where King Saul's head was displayed after his death. In just a short while you
have left fertile Galilee and entered the Judean Desert with its awesome rock
formations. A stop in Jericho, the world's oldest and lowest city and a chance
to try a short camel ride or purchase some gifts at the rest point. From here
we ascend via the truly amazing Wadi Kelt Road for a photo opportunity of one
of the world's most spectacular monasteries (St. George's). Continue the ascent
to the summit of the Mount of Olives for a spectacular first view of Jerusalem.
An opportunity to walk down the old path past the "tear drop" church into the
Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees. Time permitting a visit to
the Garden Tomb one of two sites held to be that of Calvary. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 5 The morning will begin with a walking tour of the Old City.
Starting at the Dung Gate, first a visit to the Western (Wailing) Wall, the most
holy site to Jewish people. From here walk up the path that leads to the Temple
Mount, built on the top of Mount Moriah and now the site of the Golden Dome of
the Rock. From St. Stephen's Gate follow the 14 Stations of the Cross along the
Via Dolarosa, (the way of the cross) to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - the
other site regarded by many as Calvary. An opportunity for a lunch break in the
Old City before an afternoon visit to nearby Bethlehem where you will visit the
Church of the Nativity built over the cave where Jesus was born. An opportunity
to view the Shepherd's Fields and Rachel's Tomb before returning to your hotel.
Overnight in Jerusalem. Day 6 Today you descend to the lowest point
on the earth's surface at 1300ft below sea level as you visit the Judean Wilderness
and the Dead Sea. You will pass the many Bedouin encampments on the road from
Jerusalem before reaching Qumran where an Arab shepherd boy discovered the Dead
Sea Scrolls. Travel south to the awesome Masada, which you will ascend via the
cable car. You will hear its amazing tale of courage and defiance against the
might of Rome. Following Masada an opportunity to relax at the En Gedi Spa. You
will be able to try the four types of bathing on offer. Firstly swim in the unique
unsinkable Dead Sea, and then try a natural Hot Sulphur Spring Bath (also unsinkable).
Relax with a mud bath and finally enjoy a swim in the Spa's outdoor pool. Overnight
in Jerusalem. Day 7 A free day in the Jerusalem. Why not visit Yad
Vashem (the holocaust memorial) or the Shrine of the Book and view the actual
Dead Sea Scrolls. Or simply enjoy shopping and haggling in the colourful bazaar.
Overnight in Jerusalem Day 8 Following breakfast, transfer from
your hotel to Ben Gurion Airport for your return flight home. Valid
for departures during the following periods 2005 January, February,
March, June, 1-15 July, September, and 21 November - 15 December. The following
quotation, based on a departure from London for 8 days, is subject to availability.
